- Sales help in the bookstore Work at the Petaluma Adobe gift store. Answer visitor questions, sell publications, and souvenirs. Training Provided
- Interpretive events Participate in special events at the park by helping staff with demonstrations, fee collections, sales, and period crafts
- Gardening
- Artifact Cleaning
- Various Eagle Scout, Girl Scout, and Boy Scout projects available
- Petaluma/Sonoma Docent Docents assist at the parks in providing interpretive activities, educational programs, and promotion of Petaluma Adobe State Historic Park and Sonoma State Historic Park-which includes Mission San Francisco Solano, Vallejo Home, Casa Grande Site, and the Soldiers Barracks. Must complete California State Parks Volunteer Training. A commitment of two tours per month for two years is requested.
